Unmounting Issues through iSANmp& ProTools

Hi There,

I am getting intermittent "cannot unmount Volume, volume is in use" errors when finishing my protools sessions.

Normally just closing the project you are working on allows you to eject, however you have to close ProTools application completely to unmount??

Whats frustrating is, the problem isn't consistant!

Anyone have any ideas??!!!

It is definitely possible that Pro Tools has not yet released the lock on the volume, causing the OS to deny an unmount request. It may also be that Spotlight is doing some indexing... make sure the volume is in Spotlight's Privacy tab.

If this issue just came up in 10.7.4, then read this KB article about a known issue in 32-bit mode.
