Version of the globalSAN iSCSI initiator for OS X has been released to the public.

New Features
  • The initiator is now installed as a System Preference
  • The Installer will now offer (recommend) to uninstall any previous version of the globalSAN initiator. Preferences are saved.
  • Login redirect for certain 3rd party targets is now supported
  • Initiator name is now based on OS X Computer Name
  • New icons
  • Optimized logging (syslogd) functions
  • Login redirect settings are persistent
  • Addressed a situation that could result in kernel error code E00002BC on certain targets
  • Addressed an issue observed on some combinations of OS X Leopard (10.5.x) on Intel machines that could cause the initiator to become unresponsive
  • Addressed an issue with session recovery, which caused incompatibility with certain targets
Version is a free upgrade to all users and is available for download here.
