Postmap v.1.1 build 42 has been released to the public.

Several new features are included in this release:

Complete Client GUI redesign for both Mac and PC
All new, completely redesigned Postmap Client user interfaces for Mac and PC. To support the most advanced features of both operating systems, the new GUI is built on the latest frameworks for both Mac (Cocoa) and Windows (.NET).

All new "Online Media Preview Dock"
Postmap now gives users the ability to preview and audition their media clips and other search results directly within the Client application, without the need to launch other applications.

Click to Launch/Reveal
The Client application now allows the ability to act on search results to launch an associated application, open the file, or reveal the file in the Mac Finder or Windows Explorer.

Re-designed File Info, Metadata and Workflow panels
These panels are now presented as independently collapsible docks within the Client application, making it even easier to interact with custom metadata and workflow information.

Integrated volume browser
The volume browser has been enhanced and is now more intuitively integrated within the Client application, saving time for users who need to navigate the directory structure of volumes that are offline.

Indexer enhancements
In previous releases, the indexer would index an HFS+ volume even if the contents of the volume did not change since the last index. Postmap now checks that an HFS+ volume has actually changed since the last index.
